The Mountain Laurel bloom is an iconic spring event in Pennsylvania woodlands, so it is no surprise it earned the title of Pennsylvania state flower. 'Minuet' is a compact variety with gorgeous flowers that feature white centers and pink-maroon bands and as an evergreen shrub with glossy foliage, this lovely plant looks good year-round. Fun fact - Mountain Laurel flower stamens have unique, spring-like mechanisms that spread pollen when tripped by a bee!
